Hi! I am an artist and my name is Ana Llaurado. I am very glad you found me, I hope this will be a treat. There are 2 distinct areas in this website. "Life Like Doggie Doorstops" and "Home Nest". What are "Life Like Doggie Doorstops"?
Well, my Doggie Doorstops are a faithful reproduction of my original paintings that I did of happy dogs wearing a cute bandana that are sitting on a colorful braided rug. I made prints of my paintings and then I decopaged the prints on 1/4" tempered hardboard, I cut the wood in the shape of the dog and it is finally covered with a protective varnish. My doorstops come in 12 of the most popular breeds. Now what can you do with them? They can hold doors with style and a touch of whimsy. They are a beautiful decoration you can put anywhere in your home, from your kitchen to your den, from a countertop to a window sill and can even be placed in front of a fireplace as long as there is no fire. They are a great gift for dog lovers. They are for indoors only ...THESE DOGGIES CANNOT GO OUTSIDE.
"Home Nest"
The second area is my very own artistic gift store "Home Nest". In it you will find ONE OF A KIND items for your home. These are not mass produced and the inventory changes often. I will be adding original paintings, dolls (doggie and one of a kind dolls) and folk art from found objects in the near future.I also carry beautiful folk art from South America that is made by some of my friends and artistic relatives.
